It's me

It is cold. I mean cold. When I got up this morning it was minus 4 degrees! Naturally this was the day I had to go out in the morning for my "Visual Field" eye test. We bundled up and went. Lots of snow on the drive and in our allotment but the main roads were decent. It was just so darn cold. After the test we stopped at the store to pick up a prescription that was ready. Then I bought an eye patch. My one eye is so darn crappy that I can read and do other things better if I am only looking out of one eye. I go to see the doctor that specializes in the retina and I sure hope he is going to say....lets do surgery! Never thought I would want to do surgery but it would be so nice to see properly again. I am still waiting on the paper to get here. Even if the carrier got his papers on time I imagine he is having problems getting around. He has over 600 customers! Well nothing much going on here. I have been kind of just "so so" lately and not feeling much like blogging. I have really enjoyed reading other's blogs though. Katy has been so interesting and I love reading about Di's awesome life and my buddy Judy and of course Yo and the cats and the lovely "Lemon".

  1. I think your feeling crappy and not much like blogging because of your eye. I sure hope they can do something to help you Lois. I'm sure that's very frustrating and very depressing too. Well, keep blogging as we like reading what your up to, whatever it may be. Hugs.

  2. Eyes are so important, I hope they can do something simple to help you Lois.
    Thanks for your lovely comment.
    It's freezing here too.

I wanted to tell you that if you cannot click on links on blogs, then just cut and paste or type the link into the browser address bar and that will take you to the link.
Many people can't click links in Internet Explorer but can with Firefox.
I answered more completely on "cottage".

I also love visiting other blogs and "meeting" so many great people. Its wonderful.

  3. (((LO)))

Eye problems are so depressing, I can see why you feel "so, so", before I had my cataracts out I was down right depressed. Hopefully they will have a good plan, one that includes seeing well again.

I love reading everyone's blogs, so glad I have the time now to get back to it. You are lucky to have Lynn home with you to help you. I wait all day for Tony..........:)

    Stay warm sweetie!

  4. I'm encouraged that your doc will have some good solutions for your vision—it sounds like you found a good doctor. I've been closing one eye for all close-up work (reading, computer, & hand-held game) for about 2 years. Last lens change my doc added prism to help with that, but I didn't complain when it wasn't what I'd hoped for. I just chalked it up to "MS eyes". This time he said the prism needed increasing, so I'm hopeful again. I'll speak up if it doesn't solve the problem, too. Hugs from another one eyed buddy!
