Saturday

Here I am ready for the weekend. We went out yesterday and did our running around in anticipation of bad weather coming. So far today though it is sunny and just fine. Not to say it isn't cold but with the sun out I am happy! Today was my "weigh in" day. I step on the scales on Wednesday and Saturday. I don't want to do it every day because I fluctuate too much. I am happy to report that as of today I am now down 19½ pounds. I never thought I would see this. I have been doing this long enough now that it has become a way of life. I don't feel like I am dieting. It is just a new way of eating and I am having no problem with it. Today a friend of mine who spends his winters in CA sent me a picture. He and his wife on their was to CA stopped off in Arizona and saw some people we went to school with. He had a picture taken of all of them having dinner together. It was fun seeing all of them. Strange how they have all gotten older........ On our trip yesterday we replaced the artificial Christmas tree that we got rid of this year. You just cannot buy one that isn't pre-lit now days. So we got one and Mr. Cheap wanted to go with the bargain of bargains. I managed to talk him into one step up but it still wasn't what I really wanted. It will be fine though. Not that many people see our tree at Christmas time anyway and we can enjoy this one. I guess that is all I have for today. Maybe something will come up over the weekend and I can actually blog about something interesting, controversial, inspiring, or just plain thought provoking! Hey, maybe even funny!
