New Years Eve

We are just about into a new year. What will that new year bring? There is a lot going on right now. A new President is about to lead our nation. A man that is not like any others that we have had. He is young, he is black, he has views a lot of people don't like. What will it be like? The climate seems to be changing. The cost of living is higher than ever. Moral values seem to be going away. The thoughts of the nation are going to green thinking. Computers are being used more and more. The stamp is going by the wayside as people pay their bills on line and are e-mailing and forgetting how to write on paper. An obese nation is looking for any change that can be made to bring us back to normal weights. Fast food restaurants are even changing their ways of cooking things! People are finally realizing that sitting in front of a TV watching or playing game cubes does not help. Exercise that used to be a staple of school life is now being looked at as needed again. I guess that old adage.....what goes around comes around takes on new meaning. Some of the old ways are the better ways and they are coming back. I say ....GOOD. We need to eat less (especially fast food), exercise more, read more, be good to all, take time to pray and look for ways to make our world a better place. Have a safe New Years tonight.

  1. Jeff the cat says humans could get more exercise if they perfected their skills at obeying their cats ever demand. I think he's hinting at something, but as always - I'm ignoring him.
