a note

It is the beginning of the year. Have you made any resolutions? I sometimes think it is useless to make them because they are mostly ones that we won't keep. I remember last year I wanted to just be healthier and I think I did accomplish that. I am going to go for that one again. My attitudes have changed over the past year too and I want to nurture that. It seems to be easier this year to just let go and trust in my faith. It is so much easier not to carry a grudge or feel put upon or think badly of someone or something. That old saying....Don't sweat the small stuff...all stuff is small stuff is so true. Today when Lynn gets home from his volunteer work we are going to make a trip out. There are some things we want to look into and the weather people are saying freezing rain is coming Sunday and probably snow or something on Saturday. We might as well get out while the weather is cold but dry. So I am off to get a few things out of the way before he comes home and we leave. Blessings to all who read this.

  1. Carrying grudges is terrible for health.
Our anger turns back in on us and makes us sicker.
Hope you stay warm and dry all weekend.
    Have a good weekend Lois!

  2. It sounds like your attitudes toward the new year are good ones. Since I've gotten older I don't sweart the small stuff any more. I don't let things bother me like I use to and I don't seem to worry about how the house looks as much either. Its just a more laid back sort of life all around. Hugs.
