Today in many countries it is Tulip Day. A time to welcome spring. Although here in OH it is hard to think spring when the weather is so unpredictable. The commercial cultivation of the flower began in the Middle East. Today they are all over the globe. In fact there are 109 species of tulips now. I have some red ones in my front yard and some yellow ones in my back yard. They don't last near as long as I would wish but when they appear they are beautiful.
I had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday. One of my son's who lives closer to me than the other brought his family for a visit. I got a gift and he worked on my computer which is something I always appreciate. What would some of us do without a computer literate person to help us? My other son who lives many hours away called me early in the morning. So good to hear from him. Both of my son's call me each weekend. I think that is so nice. You think only daughters are going to be so thoughtful but my "boys" are very thoughtful too. I am blessed for sure.
The sun is out bright and I hope it warms things up along with making me feel so good to see the sunshine. Another day and life to live and love and enjoy. Yes I am feeling good today!
I really like tulips. they are such a happy flower to see in spring. I wish they lasted longer though.
