A quiet day today. Not one of my best. I didn't even get out of my night clothes today. On the other hand I got e-mail from my oldest granddaughter with a link to her college newspaper with an article she wrote. It was good and rather informative about what NKU is doing for accessibility on their campus. I was proud of her and of the article. It's hard to believe I have grandchildren old enough to be in college. She of course is my oldest and in her first year there. I have another granddaughter that is taking high school and college courses at the same time. Then there are my grandsons. They are still in middle school so it won't be long. How quickly they grow. The girls are driving and the oldest even has her own car.
Remember the blog I did on housework? Well today I got a proverb from my Amish Wisdom site. I should have had it for the blog. It went like this: Don't let your house get too dirty. It attracts company. Now that is what I call wisdom because isn't it the truth? Just let the house get cluttered up or dusty and sure enough someone will be ringing your door bell for a visit! Today I have lucked out though. Not doing much cleaning and no one has come to visit. It is late enough now that I can breathe easy and know that no one will come a calling and no one will see the clutter. I am safe. With that I am off to watch the news on TV and drink another cup of coffee and contemplate a better day tomorrow.
Here't to better days ahead!
