Soon there will be an Easter egg hunt for the kiddies at our church. The church we used to attend had theirs already. Since I have no small children or small grandchildren I won't be going to see all the fun. I do have some of my own Easter decorations out here at the house. My mother-in-law made most of them for me years and years ago. She passed on quite some time ago. I love looking at the things she made and I know it makes my hubby pleased to see them. I also put out a couple stuffed bunnies that I acquired when I was working. I had them stored up in a closet and forgot all about them. When I put them out and told my husband they were from where I used to work he couldn't believe I still had them. I think it was 1992 when I quit working there. These bunnies are really exceptional, I think. Someone was very crafty to make them so cute. Makes me think of something my husband brought up the other day. Why is it that on TV we see the Cadbury Bunny with eggs? Lets face it, bunnies do not lay eggs! Then of course we do need to get serious here and realize that Easter is not about bunnies and eggs and candy. Palm Sunday today was very nice at church and next week we will be at church from early morning till early afternoon. We will be celebrating the true meaning of Easter for those of us of the Christian faith.
