Monday

It's getting close to St. Pat's Day.  I don't think it is going to make much difference to me this year.  I guess I am only thinking about my eye surgery and the rising water here by my home.  We do have our problems with the water.  I am close to the Tuscarawas River and it is now just under the bridge that makes it possible for us to get anywhere.  The golf course is under water...the high school is closed because the road to get to the high school is under water.  We had to evacuate one year when this happened.  Then the next year it happened we stayed here.  I think we would stay again as long as it is not too cold.  We still have electric so all is well that way.  Anyway no matter how much of an inconvenience this is it is nothing compared to what is going on over in Japan.  What a terrible thing to happen.  So frightening for all those families over there.  I can't even imagine the horror they are going through.  I don't like to speculate that things are happening now that are told about in the Bible but......does make you think about it.  All the countries that are in turmoil and all the strange weather things that are happening and other stange things.  Well lets pray for all those people and hope that we are leading lives that will get us to our ultimate reward one day.

  1. I do hope your river doesn't get too high. My heart goes out the the people in Japan. Such a terrible thing to happen to them. Your right one must think about the Bible and what is said and what is going on all over the world and wonder if the end is coming. All one can do is live for the Lord and pray, pray, pray.

When is your eye surgery Lois?

  2. Scary times for Japan. Hope they can make it through safely.
When I was living in Athens Ohio, the Hocking used to flood so much. That was always scary too. Now I hear they diverted part of it or something to make it safer.
