The sun is out the hummingbirds are enjoying the nectar I have for them, all is well at our home. Yesterday was Father's Day and our youngest son and his family came for a visit. We had a most enjoyable time and lots of laughs. The oldest son called and we spoke to him and the grandchildren. Well, I take that back, my hubby talked to them. I mean after all it was Father's Day and they were calling to wish him the best. At any rate it was a pleasant day and always is when we hear or see family. It's times like this that make me wish we lived closer to each other. The boys moved away after college. I can't say that I blame them for that. Our area didn't have much to offer career wise for them. We were busy with our employment so didn't move closer to where they went. Now we are retired but not in a position where we can just pick up and leave. Having lived around here all our lives hasn't given us much knowledge of other places. Sad but true, we will just continue to grow old here. Thank heaven for the computer to be able to "visit" the places we have never been to. One can sit in front of a screen now days and travel the world. So~~~with that I will head off to either visit a new place or bury my nose in my "nook" and read about another life somewhere mysterious and new and of course exciting.

I'm so glad you had such a nice Father's day. Our's was nice too. It's been raining here every since. We can't seem to get any nice weather. It's either too hot or raining. I'm not going to complain too much though, cause I don't know what will come next. Hugs.
