Brain Drain

Just a quick note to report a Senior Moment.  We drove 22 miles one way to the eye doctor only to find out that my appointment is next Tuesday, not today!  I can't believe I did this.  I even looked at the calendar.  I even said to the hubby I have an appointment on the 26th and another on the 28th.  We still went.  I refuse to take all the blame.  After all I did tell him the dates too and he also looked at the calendar.  Maybe it is the calendars fault.  Why you ask?  Well............each day I mark a day off with a black marker.  Husband complained one day and said it looked like I was in prison and was marking off the days till release.  So I started making an itty bitty mark instead of the big black slash.  Probably if the BIG BLACK SLASH had been there I would have realized what day it was and not wasted my time today.  Sounds reasonable to me .  At any rate since we were out in the car we took the long way home and viewed some places we haven't seen in a long time.  It was pleasant but the air conditioning was on.  Boy is it hot!  So....that is my confession of brain drain today.  Was so draining I even posted two days in a row!
