It's close to that time of year when trick or treats will be expected. A lot of schools and churches do a lot of parties for the kids now days so not as many walk the streets knocking on doors. I used to enjoy seeing all of them but as time has passed and costs have increased I kind of appreciate not having trick or treaters. Gosh I sure know how to make myself sound old. Well my children are grown and my grandchildren live hours away so I guess I deserve to feel bah humbug. It has rained a lot here today and what leaves were still on the trees are now on the grass. Getting colder and the sun is hiding like it does in Ohio till sometime next spring. Well we did have some sun today in between the rain drops but I know whats coming. Doing a lot of reading. I sure love my Nook. I have a book ready to read at all times and even get a free one every Friday. The free books are not bad either. I still buy some of course because there are some I really want but the free ones come in handy. So what with reading and playing on the computer and watching to much TV I am just living the good life. No complaints. I am sure I can think up some to blog about next time. Or....maybe not. Happy Days to all!!
I am going to have to look into the Nook. Buying books is getting expensive and I do love to read.
ReplyDeleteAs for Ohio weather, when I was living in Athens, it used to seem to rain every autumn Thursday or maybe it was Tuesday ..something with a T anyway lol.
I miss it there from time to time.
