My Granddaughters...taken at Thanksgiving time at my son's home. Just had to post .... proud Grandma!
I found out something about my eye. Have had continual swelling of the eye and then noticed a white bump like in the corner of the upper eyelid. I panicked and went in to see the eye doctor. Found out that the white bump that I thought was an infection is a perfectly normal tear duct that I even have in the other eye and never noticed. Then the doctor tells me that the eye may be swollen for three months before it gets back to normal. So now I am feeling a lot better about it and just waiting around till it is finally finished healing...whewwww!
A near disaster today at home. The hubby was in the spare bedroom....getting ready to paint a wood frame he made for a bed. He picked up the paint can to shake....and the lid was loose and fell off and paint...WHITE ...went all over the BLUE carpet!!! Well between him and me on our hands and knees with hot water and scrubbing with rags and a big brush we managed to get it all up. It was not a small amount either. I kept going for clean water in pans and cleaning the rags so we didn't just keep rubbing the paint we got out back into the carpet. It was an experience! So alls well that ends well, a clean carpet and lesson learned about checking lids before shaking cans.
