Fat Tuesday! I should be indulging today and enjoying the beginning of the season. Unfortunately I limit my calorie intake every other day and today is my day to limit eating! I have been doing this for years now and it has kept my weight at a good place. I don't want to mess that up. For a while I was doing a lot of eating what ever crossed my plate and since I tend to put on weight all over in a rather good way actually I wasn't aware of how much I was putting on. So that is when I heard someone on TV mention a kind of semi fast every other day and then eating normally the other days only of course watching portion sizes. So I started that and slowly lost the weight I had put on and here we are years later and I have maintained. So......happy me and more healthy me and Fat Tuesday......afraid not.

I think that's sounds like a pretty good way to diet Lois. Whatever works for someone is what's good for them is what I say. I'm still using my yogurt and slim fast in the morning and whatever we have for dinner and it seems to work for me. I've kept my weight off for a good while now but I keep a watch on it. I need to get some exercise though and get off my butt and do something. I've gotten very lazy and have been doing nothing. I'm sagging all over.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it a day late! But the diet plan sounds very reasonable and I can see how that would work and you would never really feel deprived either.
