The sun is shining. The wind is blowing. The temperature is 50. I guess it could be a lot worse. Just spoiled because of all the warm weather we had......when we shouldn't have. I wanted it to keep up being warm and sunny. I am still okay with it all. See my picture above? blissful, joy, laugh, happy, giggle, smile. It should be that way every day. After all that is what we were promised when given this life. So many things out there to ruin all those feelings. The news programs have been full of upsets and of course we have politics playing a big part in our lives right now. I am not going to let any of it mess with me! I am going to paste that picture in a place where I am always aware of it.
Yesterday we made a trip to our youngest son's home. My youngest grandson is having a birthday on the 24th but the family got together yesterday to celebrate. It was a fun time. My son's mother-in-law and brother-in-law and two nieces were there also. My daughter-in-law always makes a visit or celebration a fun thing. She had us all take a number and she had presents wrapped and put out. I had number 2 so I was the second person to get to choose a present. If I didn't like it I could either take what the person with number 1 got or keep my choice. They were just little small things, not expensive big deals, but it was fun. I got a pair of warm purple and white knit socks with a comic kitten head at the top of the cuff. See, we had some little ones there choosing gifts too! Well, I ended up getting to keep the socks because I really wanted them and everyone knew that...I made sure of that, lol. What I thought was funny was one of the little girls and I mean pre-schooler age got hand sanitizer and she wanted that! Of course her Dad got a childrens'
book and she gets to enjoy that later. After that fun my grandson got to open his gifts and then we had cake and ice-cream. Home made chocolate cake that was yummy. Then some more visiting and then we were back in the car on the way home. It was a great day, always is when we see one of our boys. We even got to talk on the phone to the oldest son before we left home for the celebration. In conclusion I can say all is well with the family... and I am blissful, joyful, full of laughter and giggles and smiles. You be that way too!

Family days are always lovely.
