Once again

Remember back when the hubby was pulling an old shrub out of the yard and decided to use the car to pull it out?  Well, today shrub removable was done again.  This time he used the garden tractor to pull it out.  I will say though that he dug a hole around the shrub a couple days ago and filled with water to loosen the dirt.  Then again before pulling he soaked it with water again.  So when he pulled with the tractor today......it came out without too much trouble.  This is good because we wanted a lot of roots for transplanting.  A neighbor came over and helped him lift it into the new  place we were putting it.  I was greatly relieved.  It is thundering out right now.  We are getting a little rain.  Not as much as we need but something is better than nothing.  I fixed "veggie-ghetti" for our main meal today.  Lots of vegetables cooked in olive oil and some diced tomatoes over top the spaghetti.  We get tired of spaghetti sauce all the time so this is a sometimes treat.  It has been a good day today.  I got an ipad as an early birthday present and am learning how to use it.  I love it.  Today I even figured out how to take a picture out of an email and save it and then put it on my facebook page.  Lots of fun playing with the new ipad.  Then last week I went to my neurologist and complained again about my numbness and pain and leg problems preventing me from getting a good nights sleep.  Well, in really getting down to how it was feeling he felt one of the medications I was taking was not even needed and another one for nerve pain was needed.  Let me tell you....it is like a miracle.,  I have next to no pain now and sleep like a baby.  So as you can see it has been a good time since the last I blogged.

  1. Hi Lois,
    what a great birthday present.
Your spaghetti sounds great. I love fresh veggies with spaghetti too.
I am glad you found something to help with the pain. It wears you out to have pain all the time.
Glad you found time to blog again.
