Creepy Car Trouble

Here we are again on a Monday morning.  The car situation?  Oh boy.  Well, it was a computer problem which is always costly.  It was fixed and was so nice to drive home in a car that "seemed" to be A-ok.  It was fine...for a week.  Then on Sunday on our way to church as we approached the same place as the week before when the car acted up...the same thing happened!! Is that not bizarre?  Kind of gives you the creeps. We decided this time to keep going on to church.  When we got to church we opened the hood to take a look.  No smoke, and the hoses weren't even over hot.  That made us think the fix on the computer just wasn't right.  So today the car went back to the mechanic and low and behold it was the thermostat this time.  It seems even that is an expensive fix now days.  My hubby though told the mechanic he had no problem with paying for a thermostat but felt that with all the money we just spent and this was missed....well not happy.  So the mechanic said no labor costs and just pay for the thermostat.  Now all that remains is picking it up after it is done.  A little aside here.  When we got to church and told an older member that usually sits behind us how the car acted up this week the same as last week in the same place said..."The evil one was trying to keep you from coming to church."  I thought that was cute of her to say but you know what?  The thought crossed my mind at the time it happened too!
