Labor Day

Good afternoon.  Yesterday I spent the afternoon at my youngest son's home.  We celebrated my granddaughter's birthday and mine.  Her's was actually yesterday and mine is Wednesday.  My daughter-in-law had a relative visiting from Texas along with a friend of the relative.  Then my granddaughter had her boy friend there and my daughter-in-law's brother and his two little girls were there.  So, you get the picture, it was a good group of people and lots of fun.  Today has been a busy at home day.  We bought a new computer desk and after putting it together and trying to make our cords neater and move everything from the old desk to the new.....well work!  I guess that is fitting for "Labor Day" even if it is supposed to be a holiday.  So now I am just trying out the new arrangement and I have to say  I like it just fine.  The other desk put the computer screen up high enough you had to look up as you typed.  With this new desk it is right at eye level and keeps one from getting a stiff neck.  I like it.  So that's it for today.  I am off to relax and take advantage of a holiday.
