Ho Ho Ho

Here we are only the eleventh day of November and all I am seeing is ads for Christmas.  Hearing Christmas music already and getting all kinds of catalogs in the mail for gift giving.  Each year it gets earlier and earlier that they start one holiday before the other one is here yet.  I mean Thanksgiving is not here yet and even that was talked about before Halloween was out of the way.  I am old enough to remember when this sort of thing didn't occur.  Now days it is so much in your face!  Today the weather is gloomy.  Maybe that is making me grumpy.  Do you think?  A cold front is coming in and it is raining and cloudy.  We have had the lights on all day it has been so dark.   I didn't feel like cooking today so we had a frozen pizza.  I know that doesn't sound all that good but I have discovered something about frozen pizzas.  Our favorite is Frashetta.  Anyway, my discovery is this.  If you olive oil the pizza pan before setting the pizza on it and then brush olive oil around the outside crust of the pizza it seems to bake in the oven so much better.  Comes out tasting much better than a frozen pizza usually does.  Well, we think so anyway.  Veteran's Day is today and we should all be remembering all the brave wonderful veterans that keep our country safe.  No mail today and I almost forgot that.  I kinda got irate about all the cars of my one neighbor parked in front of the mailbox knowing that would keep the mail lady from leaving mail.  Then I remembered Veteran's Day and no delivery.  Gosh, I am grumpy today!  Leaving for an attitude adjustment.
