I am happy to say that we have heat and electric and never lost it. So lucky when I hear about the things others have had to go through. My one son and his family had a flooded basement and my daughter-in-law's mother's basement flooded too. I guess this is one time I can be happy that I don't have a basement!! The weekend is coming and I am praying that next week brings some relief to all the people that have been touched in a bad way by Hurricane Sandy. It will be good to get this behind us but sadly it is going to be a long time fixing places like New Jersey and parts of New York. Lets all remember those in need here and far away.
It is so sad how much damage the hurricane did. It is unbelievable from all the picture that I have seen. Especially the homes that burned down, so many in a row on that one street in New York. How terrible to those families. I pray for all those folks that were hit by that hurricane. I'm sure it's going to take months to clean up that mess and to get their lives back in order. My heart and my prayers go out to them. My God be with them. (I am going to post a blog)
