Dec the halls

Today I have my tree all set up in the appointed place.  It is an artificial pre-lit one.   All I need to do now is get out in the garage and collect my decorations and get it decorated.  I usually try to do something different each year with the decorations.  I think this year I am going to use a red theme.  Not the lights but the other things are going to be in the red family.  I was going to get out and do some shopping today but it is gloomy and rainy out and so I am putting it off.  Right now the plan is to go on Wednesday but who knows.  I have lists of things grandchildren want and food to get in because I am hosting the family this year.  I found a recipe for gluten free peanut butter cookies that I want to make.  My one grandson has to eat gluten free.  I love this time of year with the decorations and happy spirit but I don't like the work to make it so.  There was a time when younger and free of my multiple sclerosis that I had the energy to do what ever I wanted and not get tired.  Now days it is more work than anything else.  BUT...I am determined to make it a great time and enjoy my family and this time of year.  So with that I am off to get those decorations in the house and on the tree!
