My Day today

It's time to get the house decorated for Christmas.  The day after Thanksgiving we put up our icicle lights around the front porch.  It looks especially good since my husband built a gazebo like porch out front so the lights go around the top.  We did this after Thanksgiving because the news kept saying the weather would be so good and to take advantage of doing outdoor decorating.  Well, as most of us know the weather has continued to be warmer than usual so we could have waited.  Now I am going to start my indoor decorating.  I love this time of year because the colors and festive atmosphere everywhere is so uplifting.  So far this morning I have exercised, sent off my weekly "Granddaughter" e-mail, wrote out some checks, watched some TV, played on the computer and now I am going to have a slightly late breakfast.  I have some curtain panels to hem and then on to the DECORATING!!
