Life and Death

I write this with a heavy heart.  A lovely lady ...Lois.... who shared my name died yesterday Feb. 19 .  She made the calendars that I always used on my blog here.  Lois was one of the nicest people and so courageous.  Lois was in a wheelchair. Her legs had been amputated.  She had a heart condition.  She lived alone with her two cats.  Outside she had two more cats that she looked after and fed.  No matter how she felt or what was going on in her life she was cheerful and looking to the future and always found things to laugh about.  Her visiting health care workers became her friends and cooked and shopped for her and made things for her.  She was not just a patient but a friend.  I e-mailed with her and read her blogs.  Yes, she blogged here too.  Butterfly Lois it was called.  I will miss her so much.
