Life

Today is Friday and I can remember when that was a big deal to me. Not working anymore and both of us retired, it is just another day. The sun is out and it got up to 47 degrees today so that has made Friday special. Yesterday I had no problem getting over to the mail box and today all the snow and ice are melted away.......and Lynn was here to get the mail! I read in our local paper today and yesterday about a local lawyer that was found dead in his back yard. He had on a suit and his coat was near by. They have found no reason for his death yet. Nothing traumatic like a shooting or bludgeoning. Nothing physical either like a heart attack. He was only 54. So now they are waiting on toxicology reports and that sort of thing. It is really a mystery. Makes one realize anew that our days are numbered and we know not when the end will come. Another reason for living as good a life as you can and letting those you love know you love them. Just me thinking about life and death.
