this and that

Here I am. Lynn is off at his volunteer job. He left without putting a letter I wrote to my Aunt in the mail box. I am debating whether to take it across the street or wait and hope he gets home in time to do it before the mail person gets here. I wouldn't hesitate but the drive is snow covered and I would hate to fall getting there. The good old days when I didn't have to worry about that sort of thing...OR...when it was sunny and warm and I had no problems. Good things happening in that today is my weigh in day and I have dropped another pound. I went into the exercise room and worked out even without Lynn being here to coax me to do it. So I guess this is a good day. The sun is out and I am feeling pretty good. Reading some of the blogs about the new President are kind of disheartening. I try to read everything with an open mind. I want to have hope that we are on the right track but there are some that feel we are on the road to destruction. So I am going to try and think positive thoughts and pray for good things to happen and trust that this is what was planned for our future by our Heavenly Creator and one way or another what will be will be. I don't like to be political on my blog and I don't want to preach or offend so this is all I am going to say about it. I think now it is time for me to make a positive decision to walk across to the mail box....snow or not...because my 80+ aunt likes to get my letters.
