Here we are waiting for the government to come to some accord and keep the country viable. Is the government going to shut down tomorrow? Right now it's hard to tell. There are a lot of scare tactics going on and a lot of us are not sure whether to believe what is being said or not. If things do go down, the military veterans and seniors depending on their social security will be in trouble. That is a lot of people! Of course the senators and congressmen will still have their incomes and hospitalization and not too much to give a care about. Wouldn't it be nice if they had to live like the average person and see what it is like to live within the limits of a small income and disabilities etc. I don't consider myself a democrat or a republican but more of an independent. It is almost shameful to be in either of the main parties now days. What is going to happen? Lets hope tomorrow gives us more hope than today does.
I agree, it is shameful. The government does nothing decent anymore. Chase banks are limiting the amount you can withdraw and not permitting people to place their money overseas so they are preparing for something to happen. Scary.
