Okay..Earth Day. What does that mean to you? To me I look around and think back on my last trip to FL. It has been a few years now since I have been there. The thing I remember is the beautiful bright days. Lots of sun. The sunsets on the Gulf. The cleanliness of the place. Here in OH so many people have to put up with cloudy days. People toss things out the window of their cars as they drive down the streets. Smokers toss cigarettes on the ground. No one seems to think about keeping this earth of ours clean. Lots of deer killed crossing the roads lay there for days before being picked up and disposed of. What a blessing it is to live on Earth. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone felt it was the right thing to keep it clean and enjoy the life we have been given? Okay so maybe Earth Day isn't about what I am blogging about but it should be a day of thinking about keeping the Earth as a gift.
Someone I used to work with commented about how when he was working on a project in Mexico, there was a Horse that had died near the road and over the course of the months of the project the horse remained there. Of couse it continued to shrink and change in expected ways, but nobody ever did anything with it. I understand that was pretty commonplace. It could be worse!
