Then this from the local paper: Woman stops burglars with cup and saucer. A woman used a cup and saucer to drive back would-be burglars. Two men showing handguns attempted to invade the home of a 61 year old woman and her husband Sunday night. Both were unsuccessful. The husband heard an outside noise at 8:50 pm. so armed with a flashlight, he opened his door to investigate the sound. That's when two armed men confronted him. But the two suspects never made it into the house because the woman chucked a cup and saucer at them, driving them back. The wife's actions gave the couple enough time to shut the door and lock the deadbolt, preventing the two suspects access to their home. Both suspects then fled the scene on foot. The couple called police. I shall now never go to the door without my coffee mug!
Today we got on line and did our 2008 taxes with TurboTax. I am happy to say they are done and filed and we are legal for another year! I guess that is it for today. I should go so some laundry and other than that it is quiet in this household.

A guy on twitter today said one of his tenants shot and killed a robber who broke into his apartment. He killed him with the robbers own gun. lol Good for him! yes!!!
