I am almost recovered now from the eye surgery. A few stitches showing yet and a tiny bit of swelling but it looks good and I can see! I even drove the car the other day to go get my hair cut and could drive with confidence. When I first left I was a little concerned but then I realized I was actually seeing well and was so relieved.
You know how one thing can lead to another thing? Here is how it went with us lately. One wall in the family room was not to my husbands liking. He didn't feel it was straight and could see nails working their way out. So He started cutting away on the drywall and re doing. Then the son and his family came to visit and noticed another problem with the wall and so more work was done. After the wall started looking good the TV started acting up. It had been doing bad for a while but got worse. Well, a friend of my husband who works in a business that has TV's made him a deal on a set that was slightly used but just what we wanted. So, when the new television came into the house it made for a big change in furniture arrangement. We had been keeping all our exercise equipment in a spare bedroom and decided to put the equipment in the family room and turn the spare bedroom back into a bedroom. That went well and the new arrangement looked real good and the TV is wonderful and we also ended up with a TV stand that was missing some parts so got for free. Okay, all sounds good right? Well the new furniture arrangement put us sitting on another side of the room and we noticed lights on that side were blinking! That started a search for the problem. It wasn't light fixtures, it wasn't outlets, it was in the breaker box!! A fast trip to the electric store for a new circuit breaker. The first trip brought the wrong one so a second trip got the right one. That fixed things and the lights worked again and the room is in great shape. I can exercise and see the new TV at the same time and the new wall looks great and new placement of pictures and clock etc. make for a new living space. I love it.
So happy you are on the mend.
ReplyDeleteYour new arrangement sounds great. Too bad the circuit box needed repair though but, it never fails that there is always something that goes wrong when you work on a house.
have a great weekend.
