recovery

Well tomorrow marks one week since the eye surgery.  I am doing pretty well.  I look like I have been in a pretty good fight with a swollen and bruised eye but under all the colors I am seeing great improvement.  It was a hectic day when I had the surgery.  I had to be at the hospital at 8:30 in the morning but I didn't get into the operation room till close to 11:30.  Some things went really well but I did experience some problems.  They took good care of me though.  I will be seeing the doctor next week so he can look at how things turned out.  So far I am happy and I think he will be too.  I am so glad it is over.  I waited so long to get this eye fixed and I pray it stays the way it looks now.  I don't know that I could go through it again.  How nice that I have this out of the way before the end of the year.  Don't have to worry about meeting an insurance deductible and all is done before the holidays. So all is well.
