Monday Note

I am enjoying a sunny day that is not so bad temperature wise!  What a blessing.  It has been so oppressively  hot lately.  The other day when it was really really hot outside our temperature in the house started getting really warm.  When it finally hit 82 in the house we got worried.  We thought the air conditioner was failing so my hubby went out to look at the unit.  Well, in the winter he puts a cover over the unit and somehow the wind or something had blown that cover close to the air conditioner.  It sucked it up close and prevented it from working at capacity.  He took the cover away from it and it stared working right again.  I am so glad we didn't have a breakdown and need to have it repaired.  It seems to be fine now and we are back to being comfortable again.  Also we have had a lack of rain.  Each morning we go out and water flowers and shrubs so we don't lose them from lack of rain.  The grass we have left alone because we can't afford to water everything every day!  I am sure that when winter comes we will be complaining about cold and too much snow but right now....it is the heat I keep complaining about.  Haven't been doing much because of the heat. I don't do well in hot weather.  I feel so for the people that don't have the blessing of air conditioning like I do.  When I start feeling sorry for myself I remind myself of the many blessings I do have.  I may blog again before the week is up just to brag about something my son introduced us to and we are using.  Stay turned!
