Sometimes you really feel your age. Today is one of those days. It started out well. I even started my exercise routine before breakfast. Did a little, then had breakfast and watched some TV and played on computer. Hubby left to go visit someone so I got in the shower and did a few things I needed to do around the house. Husband comes home, we have lunch and then it began. We had to get a new receiver for our Dish Network and it was delivered. Now mind you they say..unplug the old receiver one connection at a time and connect up the new one as you disconnect the old one. Okay, sounds easy. We did that. Then it said when all is connected turn the TV on and follow instructions on the screen. We tried..it wouldn't let us. We tried again..no luck. So we called the Dish support..went through all the push this and that to get to a person to talk to. The person we finally got talked so fast we could hardly understand him. After doing this and that it was not working and the cell phone we were using started to go dead! Man on line said no problem, hang up and call back and I will listen for you and we will continue. Oh how gullible we are. Naturally we got the push this and that before getting a person...different person....and this time a she who sounded foreign. Well after going through a bunch more steps it started doing what it should. Of course it was going to take like 20 minutes so she said...you will be alright, thank you for using Dish Network, goodbye. Thank heaven it did work but some things were not as they used to be and we managed to figure it out on our own. Can't hear fast talking young people or foreign people on phone...have to get up and down off of floor to see receiver and find reading glasses to see. This getting older sure has its challenges. I think all is well now but we were so frustrated it took a bag of potato chips to make us feel better!!!!
