The weekend has passed and the wall is not done. Did I expect it to be done? No. It is close though and I am hoping to be able to put a picture on here next Monday to show it. Already it makes such a difference. It is so much more open and airy looking. I like being able to be in the kitchen and see into the family room. It is going to be so handy. We had some help from the neighbor to place a header where the wall was that we removed...it was a load bearing wall. Then we had to put a light in over the table and put light switches where they will be in a better place. So there has been a lot of things that had to be done before the finished product. So hopefully you will see next week.
Sounds wonderful but such a lot of work. Will be worth it though.

I'm glad you explained all those things, cause I know most people don't realize what all goes into taking a wall down. There is allot involved. We have done it twice and it's allot of work. I know it will be well worth it when it is finished.
