It is what it is or so they say

We are getting close to Halloween...well maybe not that close but close enough that people are starting to decorate outside their homes and inside too.  I have a lot of darling Halloween decorations to put up inside the home but so far I haven't.  I don't get many visitors and sometimes I think...why bother.  This year though I decided I would put things out just so I could enjoy looking at them.  Then my hubby started getting remodeling ideas.  He has opened up a wall between the kitchen and the family room.  It is going to be very convenient but it is requiring enough mess and turmoil I don't dare get my decorations out.  He is re routing electrical wires today that were in the wall.  Then he is putting a light in the ceiling over where the table sits next to the opened wall.  That means insulation dropping from the ceiling and I already have insulation that was in the removed wall and drywall dust and tools all around.  Just let me say it is not a time to think about decorating.  Now, he did say he would have this done by the weekend..but..I have gone through re modeling before and I have my doubts.  As it is we made a list of materials we would need and went to the home store with our list on Monday.  Came home with lots of stuff.  Now he finds out three things on the list were not bought!  I should have checked the list before we left the store.  I wrote the list as he dictated and then gave it to him. He even checked off things as we bought but.....missed three things.  Why?  BECAUSE HE IS A MAN!!  Any woman reading this will understand.  I mean how many times have I told him where to find something and he has looked and said it was not there.  Then I go look in the same place and ....wait for it......IT IS THERE!!  Okay..I am done ranting about this.  Will keep you up to date and maybe place a picture when it is all done.
