A short note

I am sitting here thinking of warm weather.  That is all I can do is think about it because it sure is not here.  We woke up to a lot of snow.  The schools were closed and at least the neighbor boys across the street had fun making a big snowman.  I remember last year at this time of year it was warmer than usual and now this year it is colder that usual.  It would be nice to just have it be around the temperature that it should be.  I read a blog from a friend today and she told about a fire in the neighborhood where the house was a complete loss.  That is so frightening to think of that happening.  So many times now days with people using space heaters a fire happens.  A week ago in the middle of the night we lost our electric for a while.  Then in the morning we found out that a man who was on oxygen blew himself up!! Now that is the worst kind of death and I felt so bad that this had to happen.   Our losing our electric for a short time was nothing compared to this loss of life.  May he be with our Lord and have peace and joy forever.
