Nature out the window

I am sitting here gazing out the window at the trees blowing in the wind.  We have had a lot of rain and wind lately.  At least the temperatures have been close to what they should be for this time of year.  A couple days we had sun streaming in the windows and oh how wonderful that was.  It seems like winter in OH is so dark and cold.  Looking forward to spring and summer are big things in this house.  Well I will quit complaining, it will come.  I bought some morning glory seeds and tomorrow they are going to be planted.  Last year was our first year for morning glory's and they were just beautiful.  We couldn't get over how much pleasure it gave us to look out into the back yard at our arbor with the flowers climbing up and over.  Such beauty in the flowers of the world.  God is truly good to us.  Speaking of nature.  In the Cleveland area...heard this on the news......an eaglet has been born in one of the parks.  Now this would not be so eventful except for the way it happened.   Eagles mate for life.  It seems the male eagle was killed after the female had laid an egg.  So she was not sitting on the egg like she needed to because of needing to fly off to get food to eat.  So what happens?  A lone male eagle came into the area and started courting her.  She at first chased him off.  Then he started bringing nesting material and food for her and she decided to accept his help.  Well it looks like they are a couple now.  The egg has hatched and a eaglet is being cared for by his or her mom and ..looks like stepfather too!  Like I said..God is truly good.
