Thinking Spring

Thinking about Spring.  I was actually out and about yesterday and the weather was warm and sunny.  Now today it rained and  the sun is hiding but some spring flowers are lifting their heads out of the ground and there is hope.  Trees whose naked arms were reaching to heaven  all winter asking to be clothed, are now adorned with lacy green gowns.  Soon they will be fully clothed in lovely green leaves and hiding bird nests in their arms.  It is a nice time of year watching life begin again after a long winters nap.  I for one am ready for that wake up call.  I have hibernated long enough in the house waiting for the snow to melt and the sun to welcome me back out into the yard.  I yearn for my hummingbirds to come back and buzz around the feeders.  I eagerly await the sound of the fountain beside my chair as I sit on the deck.  Even the noises of the lawn mowers will be welcome.  Fresh tomatoes, corn on the cob.  Cooking on the grill.  Yes, I am thinking about Spring.
